Can you sleep well?

I was amazed by a story from a friend about her insomnia habit, where she can go on for almost two days with as little as 6 hours sleep. If I put myself in her shoes I think I'd be a walking zombie.

That convo made me recall other conversations with friends or relatives on the same topic, some people do have constant problem with insomnia. I guess being able to sleep deep, well, and sound is one of the blessings that I should be thankful for. I did have a period of time where I had trouble sleeping, and these were what I did to cure it:
*Reduce my intake of tea (since I dont drink coffee)
*Try to be as active as possible during the day
*Not doing any activity in my bed (reading, chatting, etc) except sleeping

Are you suffering from insomnia?or have you had any experience with troubled sleeping?if you have, what did you do to get back to your normal sleeping pattern?

And here's my fave snack for summer time! Fruity Honey Yogurt!! Super easy to make :DJust grab some fruits, top it with plain yogurt (you can use flavored yogurt but I prefer plain because I can taste the fruits better) plus lots of honey :D
I think I've been eating kilos of yogurt in the past few weeks lolz XD XD

Have a good day everyone!!
xoxo

I do lack sleep for months now, I guess it's because of my stress for my mom, I guess, the only way to sleep is drink warm water and try not to think about it!

I've never thought of drizzling honey on top of yoghurt. I like the plain ones the most =D

I do have trouble sleeping when I'm stressed. I'll think about my problem the whole time, and when I finally manage to sleep, I'll even dream about solving it lol

I'm the opposite of insomniac! Because of my studies, sleep is a luxury for me. I wish I could sleep 10 hours a night every night!:)

Oooh I love yogurt, especially frozen yogurt topped with oreos, yum!:)

The fruit and yogurt looks great!

I'm like you, I need my sleep. So when I have trouble sleeping it leaves me exhausted. One time it had a great side-effect. I used to have a co-worker who thought she was "IT". Unfortunately the guys in the office gave her attention and just made her ego worse. I refused to be a part of that...and that bothered her. She would stop by to flirt on occassion, but I never bit. One day she stopped by when I was REALLY tired. In the middle of her visit I started to fall asleep. I wish I had recorded her reaction. She said, "You're falling asleep while talking to ME!!!" The look on her face was priceless. She didn't come back after that. I never told her it was nothing personal. haha!

Ive had this problem on and off for more than 6 years I think. Im always in front of the computer and amuse myself too much lol

For the past 3 days I would sleep at around 8 in the morning wake up at around 3 and just stay in bed the whole day! Totally not healthy! but my sleeping pattern leaves me weak :/ boo

I sometimes go on straight with no sleep. If i want to really fix it I dont sleep and wait until like 10 pm before I do. But sometimes I end up amusing myself too much in front of my laptop and the rest is history. blah. Hope I fall asleep soon

I wanted to do a post on insomnia some day too, but I always find something else to blog about instead.

Anyway, I've suffered from insomnia a lot! I could turn and turn in my bed, and then finally fall asleep for 1-2 hours, wake up and go! or not sleep at all, and back in the days, it didn't really affect me during the day.

I'm glad I got over it, because now I can't really afford to be sleepdrunk at work haha!

I used to have that problem too. What worked for me was to drink chamomile tea 30 minutes before bedtime. It's very relaxing and really helped put me to sleep. =)

OH yum!!!! I had an obsession with Greek Yogurt and strawberries and honey after getting back from my trip overseas- of course Greek Yogurt here is not as nice as in Greece ;)

Oh I am with you Hana, I would be a walking zombie too! I can not function on any less than 7 hours of sleep a night- I have a constant throbbing head and just feel awful with lack of sleep!

Oooh what are your hair extension horror stories, I'd love to hear :) lol

I couldn't agree more with your sentiment that being able to sleep without any problems is a real blessing. Often, we don't realise how lucky we are until something in our life changes.

Oh, and that summer snack looks amazing!

An orange blush? Which brand is it from? Did you buy it?

I used to love blushers a lot!! But I stopped using it for a year plus.. they enhance my scars lol. I just started using them again, idk... I love them for some unknown reason =D

i have trouble sleeping as well. ever since the age of 9!! its horrible. I do think my stress levels affect my sleeping as well as my activity level. Being really active helps since I probably wear myself out so much that I just pass out when i hit the sack!
