When you feel like an idiot...

Have you experienced 'the dumb moment' where you can't stop your mouth and just say the dumbest thing without even know why on earth you are saying it?

Scene #1 happened today
Me n hubby were eating our lunch n watched the NBA game between Orlando n Atlanta

Us: *munch munch munch*
Me: So, which team is better?
Hubby: Both are good but I go for Orlando..
Me: OH, isn't one of their player called Orlando Bloom or something?
Hubby: *munch munch munch* *Speechless staring at me*
Me: ???
Hubby: Babe, Orlando Bloom is Legolas, ok??
Me: HAHAHAHAHA (plus feeling very stupid and was glad that no one else was around)
Hubby: their team is called Orlando Magic..
Me: I don't know why I said that...HAHAHAHA

See what I mean?? I always think I could categorize myself into the pretty intelligent level (although not in the Einstein's liege) but there are times when I doubt myself @.@"

Scene #2 happened quite a long time ago
Me, hubby(then bf), and his friends (so 6 of us, yes it was a bit over crowded) were in a car. It was my first time hanging out with that lot of his friends. We were listening to "the best day of my life" by DIDO on the radio.

Friend 1: I love this song!
Friend 2: Yep, it's very catchy.. who again is the singer??
Me: *Super confident* The singer is very famous, her name is DILDO
Everyone: *S I L E N C E* (everyone was staring at me)
Me: NO!I mean, sorry, I mean DIDO!!! DIDO!!! DIDO!!
Hubby: *looking around* What is DILDO?
Everyone: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I think I made quite an impression on his friends that day -.-"""

And that's why my mom always tell me to hold my tongue and think twice before opening my mouth LOLz

Anyone?who can beat my dumb moment? hahaha...
Whenever I recall those moments I just laugh, laugh, and laugh at myself XD XP

Hahaha! One situation popped into my head, but I can't top those two stories. And they are great stories. Those memories and all the smiles they're creating are the silver lining to how you felt in those moments.

It's worth it, right???

Tomboy? I wouldn't have guessed, but it's good to know. I've always liked tomboys. The little goof in the pic is me...not long after I whacked my brother w/the skillet. He looks like the Franknstein monster to me.

AHAHAHA!!!! Omg! That reminds me of the spaz moment I had the other day.

Oh btw! About the Neutrogena Wave, you should check drugstore.com for the refill pads! They're like 2.00 off on there! :D I'm gonna order the Wave Duo pretty soon :)

You won't be able to snag any of their stuff in Singapore as YSL just pulled out from there =( You'll have better luck snagging Rouge Volupte from the Australian counters =D

Hahaha... the dildo made me laugh. I am sure I have few shared moments though could not particularly recall them. But I have a friend who's prone to slipping her tongue. She was about to buy a book. She probably had done some rounds and still could not find the book so she decided to ask for assistance. And so she went saying ... ah miss do you have this book ah..(while reading her list) chicken NOODLE soup? (suddenly remembering the continuation of the book's title) for the soul??

lol Orlando bloom! Yeah I have quite a few dumb comments that makes people go 0_0. Like I met this girl and she said she is from Oklahoma and I said "oh wow you are from Japan that's far to travel" then she got pissed and said that it's in the states and I responded with "where is that?". I was like oops I was thinking of Yoklahoma HAHAHA anyways whatever not like she knows her map of Canada!

The diamond in my wife's engagement ring fell out. She wants to wait until our anniversary in May to replace it and/or the ring/ and/or the wedding ring too. We'll see!

Pepperidge Farm sells a cookie called TimTam. They market it as "Australia's Favorite Cookie". I usually assume marketing slogans are just made up by ad executives, but this is kind of an odd claim if it's not true. Have you ever heard of them? It's 2 chocolate wafers, covered in milk chocolate, with some sort of chocolate cream filling.

Hope you're having a good week so far!
